Born in 1969. Mr. Zavala holds a degree in Business Administration at European Business School. He studied the Master in International Relations atq Ortega y Gasset University Institute (attached to the Complutense University) and the II Strategic Management and Social Leadership Program at IESE (University of Navarra).
He worked at Banco Herrero, Banque de Paris et de Pays Bas and Banco Central Hispano. As an entrepreneur, in 1995 he created a company dedicated to the sale of databases of real estate information, and another company in the distribution and real estate sector. He has been Director of Administration of Tragsa, financial controller in Whiplash Communications and Obralia, financial director of Asociación Española de Criadores de Caballo Español (ANCADES) and Fundación Amigos de la Revista de Libros. He was manager and since 2012 director of Fundación Transición Española dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the values and principles that made that political process possible. He has published articles in various newspapers. He has lived in the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Tunisia. Speak and read English and French fluently.
